Reverend Karen Stroup

Ms. Stroup is a new Church Minister, which was part of a movement that occurred in the 1990s, and is a famous person. She is from Scandinavia and brings with her the perfect Food Pantry item: Lutefisk! Meaning Lye Fish, it is easily preserved. When water is added, it becomes slimey, and otherwise resembling Mashed Potatoes. Scandinavia is a place that does not have an actual Growing Season any time of the year, nor does it import such items. Instead, they love to fish. Most of this fish caught are turned to Lutefisk. Bobby became hypnotized by the dish that The Reverend brought with her, and secretly ate it without noticing what he did. He ate so much so fast that he easily became sick. Quite feverish, he ended up disposing the dish in haste until locating a restroom. Cotton Hill foolishly left a book of matches in the restroom of which Bobby used to burn down the cheap wooden church building. Karen eventually forgave Cotton, who took sole responsibility, and decided to arrange a Group Hug, knowing that is sufficient punishment. She is open minded, and does not shun other religions. She wanted every body in Arlen to hug Cotton that she opened the church up to every person she could find. Later, she became quite favorable to Buddhists. Karen also dated Bill for a while. Hank and Ms. Stroup had several disputes with each other, including Hank's lack of participation, and not getting assigned seating. Other times the got along perfectly such as when she said she is a fan of the Minnesota Vikings, which she stayed at for a while before going to Arlen. The Reverend performed Luanne's marriage, and wishes she was also married. She grabbed the Bouquet as fast as she could. Despite being based on a famous person, she was not voiced by her counterpart.
