Anna appears effortlessly cool and elegant. To those who don't know her well, she may seem too perfect to be true - a respected career, a handsome husband, a treasured only child, and a very comfortable existence that Joe's success has afforded. But Anna's polished exterior belies a highly sensitive and emotive nature, resulting in her almost always choosing the safest path. Joe was, and is, the exact opposite of Simon: straight talking, decisive, charismatic and masculine.
