Buck Strickland is Hank's irresponsible boss. It is revealed that Hank is the Assistant Manager Of Strickland Propane And Propane Accessories not because of it being one of many Hank's passions, but instead to be the Keeper of Buck Strickland. While Buck tries to be in good faith, it is Hank's responsibility to prevent the demise of The Strickland Company and Buck Strickland himself. He was divorced from his wife that resulted in Buck's hidden assets being unloaded on The Hills. Buck has Female Models that are vaguely Office Assistants. Among them are Debbie Grund who was sent to spy on Elizabeth. The other ladies are simply referred to as "Donna". Additionally, Buck embezzles from his own company so he can attend Strip Clubs. He noticeably has had Open Heart Surgery, and does minimal effort to stay healthy. He has a son which he eventually meets and acts like teenagers together. Hank has a devoted loyalty to Buck. However, he seems to have a subconscious need to keep Bobby and Luanne from spending too much time with him. Buck seems to have little appreciation for his business aside from the profits. He continues to pass the actual responsibilities of running a business to Hank and sometimes Peggy as well ... and eventually, Kahn.
