Commander Ed Fogel

Commander Ed Fogel is the commander of the 26th District of the Chicago Police Department. He made a romantic advance on Officer Tay and she rejects it. With his feelings hurt, Commander Fogel assigns Tay to the "worst beat" in the city but she is soon transferred to the 21st District with the help of Sergeant Trudy Platt. Commander Fogel takes the transfer as a insult to him and calls it a "beef" and threatens to assign Platt back to the footbeat as seen in Season 4 Episode 2.
