Slan "The Cat" Quince was a blacksmith during the Revolutionary War. He became Immortal after dying his first death, and has spent his time since hunting down and killing fellow Immortals for their Quickenings. Inhumanly strong, Slan wields a massive two-handed sword that he built himself, with a spike projector built into the hilt. Like the cat he takes his nickname from, Slan likes to play with his victims before killing them.
The Immortal values his looks (he considers himself extremely attractive) and wears a protective mask whenever he anticipates going into battle, and when it won't draw attention to himself. He was decapitated by Duncan MacLeod at the end of their first encounter.
