BBA teaches at Crestwood High School, where all four boys attend, and starts the season eager to expel Steve for his violent behavior but ends up his biggest advocate. She's grieving the death of her twin brother, Theo, a drug addict who died after she turned him into the police, and is shocked to discover he left her everything in his will. Through the nightly meetings, she grows close to and protective of the boys, and ultimately gives up $50,000 to keep Steve out of Asheville.
