Ray has grown a lot since his break-up with Shoshanna -- and that includes running Ray's, his eponymous coffee shop. Unfortunately, Ray's professional success isn't carrying over to his personal life -- he had been serving as Marnie's sexual comfort blanket even though he's looking for a deeper, more fulfilling relationship.
