Michael moves from his sheltered life with his mom in Cleveland to attend a New York performing arts school, where he's a small fish in a big pond. Gay, half-Indian and still dressing like he's 12, Michael has a lot to overcome before he can make friends and win the EGOT that is his destiny. But at least he can count on his family's support, even if he and Vince clash on pretty much everything else.
