A mysterious general engaged in biochemical military development, Sunderland apparently works for the U.S. Government. Arcane works for him in return for financing to bring back his dead wife Tatania. When he succeeds, Arcane discovers that Sunderland substituted a stripper for Tatania while keeping the real Tatania imprisoned.
Sunderland is originally crippled and confined to a wheelchair, but thanks to surgery and rehabilitation, he learns how to walk again. However, Anton melts the metal pins in Sunderland's legs and spine as revenge for his deceit. Sunderland triggers the self-destruct in his complex, seemingly killing himself.
