Simon Van Reyk

Simon van Reyk - Harrow's assistant and protégé - a forensic pathologist in training. He simply loves working for Harrow, a man he regards as a genius in his field. While Simon wants to one day be the best in his work field, he also wants to maintain his loving relationship with his partner David, and not see it wither and die like Harrow's relationship with his ex-wife Stephanie. And it's easy to see why Harrow and Steph broke up. Harrow is short-tempered, irritable, flighty, unpredictable, and more than a little cynical. Hundreds of homicides will do that. Simon, however, remains good-natured, stable, and optimistic about people. He also knows that the endless stream of jibes from Harrow about his sexuality disguise Harrow's diametrically opposite view: he knows Harrow is someone who would fight to the death to defend him. Their older-younger brother dynamic is fun, irreverent and a joy to witness.
