Sam Shaw

A former military officer, Sam Shaw returned to Bishop to take care of her ailing mother. She joins the local police force and ends up rapidly moving through the ranks to the position of detective. She is Harley's oldest and closest friend and has been there through all the significant moments of his life. They drifted apart for a while when Harley was in the thick of his marriage and his show, but now that he's back, it's like he never left. They have always been each other's childhood crush, and remain attracted to each other. But both are tentative to cross the boundary into more than friendship for fear of jeopardizing what they already have. The stars have yet to align for these two… but one day they will. Tough, smart, and focused, Sam is also the muscle of the group.
