Detective Senior Sergeant Bryan Nichols

Detective Senior Sergeant Bryan Nichols is a long-time CIB detective and a solid man's man who seems to have been wearing a frown since 1985. But that's just his 'work' exterior. He looks like an old-school plainclothes detective, the sort who'd happily take a suspect around a corner to physically bounce a confession out of him. But those who know him - particularly burgeoning love-interest Maxine Pavich - can testify that he's a highly professional and respected police officer, as well as a sympathetic, unflappable, got-it-together man, with a kind and attentive nature. And although he considers Harrow to be irritating, the two share a deep, mutual professional respect.
