Ted's wife. An Army engineer herself, who grapples not only with her loss, but her increased disillusionment with the Defence Force she has given her life to, when questions about Ted's death lead her to suspect a cover-up. Her teenage daughter Maya, forced to grow up without her dad, hates that the Army that took him from her, and tries to find a reason to believe his death was worth something.
