Jenny's son Ross is struggling to come to grips with his dad's sudden and unexpected death. As he goes through the stages of grief, Ross is supported by his loving and steadfast boyfriend, Matteo, who bears the brunt of Ross' lost emotions. Ross explores who he is without his father, who he is with his widowed mother and who he is without his swim team.
