Wayne's mother who, upon introduction, doesn't explain to us why she left Wayne Sr. and her son behind. All we're told is that Wayne Sr. worked a lot, was a hot head, and it is made clear that she is fairly happy with her life in Florida. Especially upon her son coming down who, despite not much contact in 11 years, she seems to have missed.
