Victor Lazaro, still reeling from the death of his wife Maria, struggles to carry on in a world without her. His job as General Manager of the Miramar Playa serves as a welcome distraction to his grief, but it won't take long for Victor to channel his emotions into action. As changes in Castro's Cuba ripple to the shores of Miami Beach, Victor gets swept into a growing activist movement that will forever alter the course of his life.
