Beta Ray Bill is an incredibly powerful character in his own right. He is a Korbinite, genetically enhanced to have superhuman abilities, including strength, speed, and durability, comparable to Thor's. His power level allows him to stand toe-to-toe with Thor, even when Thor is at his most powerful.
