Lars Rodriguez, also spelled Larz, is an essensial character of Rocket Power. He is the brother of Maurice. They live together in the same house with their parents near The Rockets, and The Stimpletons. Their parents are strict about their family getting along with each other, a very common situation among Central Americans, and Carribbeans. Lars takes advantage of this situation by borderline gaslighting, among other things, his brother Maurice, in order to make a fool out of Maurice while Lars seems to be innocent in the eyes of their parents. The reason why it is borderline has to do with the fact that Lars is secretly big hearted, and worries about the welfare of his brother, and cries if he believes Maurice is gone forever. Lars is simply displaying Masculinity (not bullying as it seems), and does not want Maurice to make the same mistakes that Lars did. Indeed, Lars and his friends are obsessed with Team Rocket and follows each other around, some times during Showdowns, while other times pranking each other outside of sport events. His fiercest rival is Otto Rocket. However, they are not sworn enemies.
