Carissa is Debbie Van's mother and, as of the season 4 episode "Bear of Beeftown Adventure", Beef's girlfriend.
She is a divorcée, and shares custody of Debbie with her ex-husband, Ken. In her first episode, season 2's "Beef Mommas House Adventure", she is shown to be in a friend group with Marie and Dorothy, the mothers of Moon's other friends Russell and Henry.
In the season 4 episode "Cheese All That Adventure", Carissa opens a coffee shop Scone Moose.
