Pilot for the cult 90s show 'Baywatch' about a team of L.A. county lifeguards led by heroic Mitch Buchannon. Craig rescues a teen girl that develops a fatal attraction and stalks him, placing Craig's wife, Gina, in mortal danger. Jill trains rookies, and an Aussie troublemaker joins the team. A fishing trip goes horribly wrong when the boat explodes! Mitch and his mentor Al have to rescue its passengers, including Mitch's son Hobie trapped underwater in the sunken wreckage.

Mitch has just been promoted to lieutenant. He and his former wife Gayle have an argument over her desire to have full custody of Hobie, for which she informs Mitch she has filed suit.
