NXT: TakeOver: New Orleans will air at 20:00 for 2 ½ Hours on Saturday, 7 April 2018 live on the WWE Network from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. This PPV will be preceded by a live 1 Hour long Pre-Show at 19:00. The scheduled matches are as follows:
1. Unsanctioned match: Johnny Gargano (aka Johnny Wrestling) vs. Tommaso Ciampa - If Gargano wins, he will be reinstated to NXT. If Ciampa wins, Gargano will be banned from NXT
2. Ladder match for the inaugural NXT North American Championship: Adam Cole vs. EC3 vs. Killian Dain vs. Lars Sullivan vs. Ricochet vs. Velveteen Dream
3. Triple threat tag team match for the NXT Tag Team Championship and Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic trophy: Champions The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole & Kyle O'Reilly) vs. The Authors of Pain (Akam & Rezar) vs. Roderick Strong & Pete Dunne
4. Singles match for the NXT Women's Championship: Champion Ember Moon vs. Shayna Baszler
