After the neighbourhood cops manage to talk him into coming quietly, a change in his demeanour gives cause for concern, and a discovery in custody explains why. Neighbourhood officers in Blyth are on shift at seafront festival Northumberland Live. When a child goes missing, the team are put on high alert. In Newcastle, the arrest of a man who failed to appear in court takes an unexpected turn, which forces officer Hayley to spring into action. Neighbourhood officers Chris and Gill receive a shock in Sunderland when they receive calls about a man spotted on the high street wearing cowboy boots and little else. Having refrained from jumping to conclusions, the pair reveal the information to be false, although Chris and Gill get an eyeful when the truth of the reports is revealed.
