It's been 4 years since 1991, and Matlock remembers his old nemesis, Jeffrey Spidell. He murdered the woman Patricia Downey. The one who attempted to strangle Ben Matlock. And then he detonated the bomb that exploded the boat that murdered Judge Stern. Spidell was at the scene of a crime at Matlock's house in the middle of the night. And he is now getting a clean shave.
