Chloe is tempted by Pierces proposition to take their arrangement beyond just non-contact paid dating, but ultimately backs out. Gary is forced to hire Nance, but Sheilas meddling leads to a fight and the deal is off. Xanthe offers to sacrifice her uni placement to help Gary, but Amy hands him her bonus instead.
