I, too, never ever liked Iris. And I still don't. To me, she's a completely useless and annoying flea. I have no use for her whatsoever, never have.
in the first seasons I didn't really like Iris because she had no role other than love interest. Now they're trying to develop her and I should like that... but she's written to so naively and TSTL that I almost wish they would stop and relegate her back to a 2ndary character.
A lone journalist is going to take on an international crime ring, write a story about them... and that will stop them somehow....???? When they literally just said in the script that it's too complicated and would require a RICO investigation if the police tried to start investigating them. She kind of deserved to be shot for even trying an idiotic plan like that....
That's not what you're taught to do in Journalism studies, Iris, maybe you need to go back to school.
