Her husband Thomas wants to take over the indebted winery of his ex-mother-in-law Katharina, who fires one poisoned arrow after the other at Sonja. Her stepdaughter Laura's bad mood fits this completely messed up situation perfectly. Unnerved, Sonja flees to the hotel. After all, she also has to solve two murders on the side. The mysterious discovery of a skeleton causes her a headache. The remains belong to a young woman who has been missing for ten years. The deeper Sonja into this unsolved casepenetrates, the more evidence speaks for an involvement of her husband. The unplanned flirt with the extremely good-looking Italian colleague Matteo does not make their situation any easier.
Dark secrets and a catastrophic new beginning in South Tyrol: Chiara Schoras stumbles into an adventure as an unfamiliar inspector that she would have liked to have spared herself.
