Ordinary civilian boy Yuzuru Koenji's grandfather, Dr. Torahiko Koenji, 3 years ago, produces a special robot for a purpose who his grandson soon meets later one ordinary day as a companion. Now they must start becoming friends as they must claim the very first of a series of collectible magical 'Star Pieces' before those pieces' wish-granting abilities are exploited by the wrong hands.
