I loved the book. I loved the Movie. There was much debate over Tom Cruise as Lestat but I loved him as Lestat. This series though. They outdid themselves starting with casting. I would love to see more Rice Vampire movies and this Lestat has to be forever Lestat. He is perfect. Rice had her doubts about Cruise as Lestat but after seeing his portrayal she was won over. I could see why. Anne Rice also endorsed this casting and series. I can see why. Her books were left in capable hands.
