Having met with Karapetyan, the Reckless Man asks for permission to informally continue investigating Kuvaldin's connections with Sviridov and the escaped killer Zvereva. But to do this, the Reckless Driver needs to quickly and unnoticeably disappear from Sochi. The next day, everyone, including Alice and Sviridov, is looking for Sotnikov.
