Tom Perscha is found dead in the generator room of his IT company. Prosecutor General Reuther recognizes that many people from Perscha's environment had a motive for the crime. After the murder of company boss Tom Perscha, Sandra Ohlig, the victim's co-boss and wife, was suspected of trying to destroy explosive documents. She also led the emergency power test, in which Perscha, tied to a generator, died. But the timing of the emergency power test was no secret in the company, and soon Reuther learns, Chief Commissioner Kerstin Klar and Commissioner Max Fischer said that the company boss, who had since been murdered, apparently treated his employees badly. The young employee Jenny Messner was particularly insulted the night before the crime.
Did she take revenge on her boss for this? Or may Jenny Messner work with internet activist Rolf Brackner, who has long targeted the head of the IT company? And what about Eva and Martin Lesch, whose son worked in Perscha's company until his tragic death? Reuther has to go far behind the company's facade to solve Tom Perscha's violent death riddle.
