Randy Evans decides to have himself killed. He figures the insurance money will cover his creditors and his money hungry ex-wife. While in jail for not paying his alimony, Evans meets a small time crook named Joe Green. Evans doesn't have the nerve to kill himself so he tries to convince Green into doing it for him. But, Green gives Evans a reason to live by reuniting him with his son.
