Episode 4

The average family home contains thousands of items we don't really need, and living in all the clutter is making us miserable. Stacey Solomon has put together a crack team of organising fanatics to help families transform their messy homes through a life-changing declutter, budget-friendly makeover and supersized spring clean.

This time, Stacey and her gang - organizer Dilly, carpenter Rob and cleaner Iwan - challenge the Daniels family to sort their life out in seven days. If the family can let go of half of their possessions, the team will then beautifully reorganise their home. NHS nurse Aimee and husband Stuart both work shifts so they can take care of their three young children, Darcie, Rex and Mollie. Four years ago, the family moved to their current home, but the boxes of possession from their old flat remain in the garage unopened. When everything is laid out, they find their possessions include 492 DVDs, 35 happy birthday banners, 12 unopened chandeliers and 905 items of baby clothes.

Mollie was born with Down Syndrome and had to have open-heart surgery shortly after her birth, and there are tears as Aimee lets go of a baby chair that reminds her of this difficult time. Once the family have decided which items to recycle, donate or sell, carpenter Rob creates an ingenious pantry solution in their garage. Cleaner Iwan gives the home a thorough clean, with lots of useful tips along the way, and organizer Dilly reorganises the kids' toys using a bespoke child-friendly storage solution in the living room.

When the family are left with only the must-keep items, the house is stylishly refilled by Stacey and her team, ready for the big reveal. Have they really managed to transform this family's life and home by decluttering, organising and upcycling alone?
