Feathers or Glamour

In the spring of 2020, Estonia was hit by a chicken boom - apocalyptic moods drove hundreds of city dwellers to buy poultry in their backyards. The film portrays urban chickens living with three families, exploring how the earlier egg-centric rural bird became an urban pet. Living side by side with humans, chickens have become more self-aware, more individualistic, and more like humans in every way. Strange accessories, strange glamor events and unconventionally good living conditions have been introduced into the birds' lives. Some chickens have even learned to speak. Can we even use the term "house chicken" anymore when looking at these emancipated birds? What does the chicken himself think of all this, and can he keep up with such a pace on his little legs?
