It's midweek in Glasgow and Paul Martin's up against antiques whizz-kid James Spiridion. Faced with the choice between a Charles Rennie Mackintosh-inspired doll's house and a statement piece wooden bird cage, the auctioneers must use their saleroom savvy to select the piece they think has the better chance of making a mint. On valuation day, will the auctioneers accept or reject an art deco diamond ring, or pair of signed souvenir rugby balls? It's all to play for - but who will come out on top today?
