Graeme Hall meets a five-year-old Dachshund who needs life-changing spinal surgery to give him the chance to get back on his feet. Vader has become very unsteady on his back legs. Owners Amber and Dan face a tough decision – if left without an operation, their beloved companion could lose the ability to walk, but equally the operation is high risk which could leave Vader paralysed.

A visit to the hospital reveals Daisy needs a complex procedure to replace a diseased Achilles tendon. Graeme joins Orthopaedic Specialist Alexis Bilmont in the operating theatre where an unexpected complication leaves Daisy requiring further surgery. It's an anxious time for owners Michelle and Gary.
