The machine's woes continue as burst hydraulics force Leif to undertake emergency repairs. The Blacklighters are almost buried alive mining opal in unstable tunnels. 16 -year- old Xavier experiences an epic hill climb fail in a dirt laden dump truck, and the team stage a walk out on a miserly buyer. Battling another mine move, the Bushmen's ancient crane breaks down dropping a two-ton digger into a ten-meter shaft. New recruit Benny gives the team a glimmer of hope drilling up a pocket of high value crystal opal.
