Continuing the dramatic true story of the 1972 Andes plane crash, told through the vivid and powerful testimony of survivors. With the plane wreckage resting on a glacier surrounded by high peaks, little did they know that their mountain home was vulnerable to avalanches. Two and a half weeks into their ordeal, as they slept huddled together against the cold an avalanche buried them alive, and the survivors realised they had to try to make their own escape - but how did they find the strength to try a trek so unimaginable through such a dangerous and inhospitable mountain range?
