Host Phil Keoghan sends 14 teams, the largest cast ever, on the journey of a lifetime. At the first destination, Hong Kong, teams encounter their first surprise twist of the season when they confront the inaugural Fork in the Road, forcing them to choose which direction and route they want to take to the Pit Stop, creating two parallel races where two teams will be eliminated.

I really like the elimination twist in this first ep and sounds like there are a lot more twists to come this season. Don't have a favorite team yet...but, my least favorite two were eliminated. Really wish some year they would do another race around the USA, but NOT a family edition as in S8...Canada & Mexico are okay for destinations. Phil, every season, keeps his left eyebrow raised..."The world is waiting for you, good luck, travel safe...GO!"
