Don Pedro's schemes make it difficult to get Andrés out of jail, and María, feeling guilty, wants to do something about it. Joaquín keeps a close eye on Tasio in his new job, and their relationship is becoming more and more complicated. Luz gives Marta the news that she will no longer be the colony's doctor. Don Pedro wants Joaquín to keep Marta as far away from the factory as possible. Damián awaits the return of his wife, and he is forced to leave the factory.
