The Path

In the immediate aftermath, Ellie and the people who loved Joel will have a chance to grieve and bury his body. But there won't be a respite for very long, because Ellie isn't willing to wait to get payback. First, she'll have to find Abby and her crew, and that proves to be more difficult than she initially thought.

I like them being a bit different – as I do with all books as well compared to TV-shows/movies.

Gives them a bit of new life compared to everything just always being the same :-)

played both games on day 1 of release I just don't have the memory for that, maybe that is a good thing when I watch this series I don't know...

In my opinion, and as someone who clocked in 400+ hours on the franchise, this episode doesn't really give the portrayed part of the game justice. In the game, Ellie and Tommy were much more raw, furious and intent on revenge.
