Food is plentiful, but animals and plants face great challenges. Summer is short, and there's little time to raise a new generation. Around the clock, it's all about growing, eating, feeding, and hunting. But lack of sleep, mosquitoes, and the constant threat of predators spread hecticness and stress. Thus, deadly danger and abundant life lie close together in the realm of the midnight sun.
