Joaquín contacts Sergeant Pontón to investigate Don Pedro's involvement in the Górriz affair. Don Pedro visits María to point out that Andrés's performance at the factory continues to decline. Begoña raises her suspicions about María with Andrés: she may have faked her suicide attempt to manipulate him. Don Pedro and Damián have a disagreement over the job offer to Gabriel.
