Colleagues are mentally preparing Maria Pavlovna for an unusual corporate event. Instead of a glass of cognac, bird's milk and everyday conversations, everyone has to be involved in the board game "Mordasia", developed by the historian. And while the math teacher is trying to figure out if the courtesan's card is offensive to her, another performance is being played out at the table, which the teachers don't even know about.
