Comedian and presenter Alexander Armstrong explores some of Britain's best and most spectacular pub walks. In the first episode, he is joined in Yorkshire by James May, who discusses memories from his childhood, getting repeatedly fired from jobs, his eventful Top Gear days and, under a tree in the grounds of Bolton Abbey, opens up about ageing and retirement.

Snap. The narrator was listed as Martin Fuller, one of the Exec Producers, unbearable voice and affected intonation, as if trying to ape Craig Cash's narration on Gogglebox. We got to the end, but only because they were in my neck of the woods and I wanted to see which pub they chose.
Interesting, but the narration ruined the whole thing, so much so we turned it off soon after the den building part. I have read that Alexander narrates the programme himself, if so why use such an annoying and boring voice? We will watch episode 2 but if the narration is the same we won't be watching anymore.
