Criminals had tricked him into thinking his money was at risk of being stolen. Police found the man as he was loading in cash and convinced him to stop. A mystery spanning decades may be one step closer to justice after criminology students helped crack the cold case. In 1991, Cynthia Gonzalez was shot and killed and her family never knew who committed the murder. Students got access to files and photographs from the crime scene in a partnership with police.
