I believe they will run the series as an anthology, where every season will be a story (a novel) for itself. The first two seasons were named The interview with The Vampire, while this third season was renamed The Vampire Lestat; season four is already filming and it will be called Queen of the Damned (or Interview with the Vampires: The Queen of the Damned). Hopefully we will get to see the entire Vampire Chronicles (as the show should have been named in the first place) And we already have spinoffs The Mayfarer Witches and Talamasca: The Secret Order

AMC announced its continuation as Anne Rice's Queen of the Damned.
Anyone know why this series is marked as ended? I can't find anything definitive about a cancelation, continuation, or even renaming the series again.
