Monsters hiding under a little boy's bed may be more than just the product of a vivid imagination when agents Harrison, Doggett and Reyes investigate. They find out that there is more to the story of the mysterious death of the child's mother who apparently stabbed herself repeatedly. Meanwhile Scully conducts an autopsy on a dead cat.

This is the 2nd episode that someone screwed up on by not paying attention to details! The guy Gabe Rotten near the very end of the episode is visiting the X-Files Office. You first see him wearing an FBI badge which of course he is not in the FBI then the second time you see him he is wearing a visitor's ID. This is the 2nd Episode that they made this same exact mistake on!
