The pilot to a proposed spin-off series from Doctor Who. The Doctor leaves K9 Mark III as a gift to Sarah Jane, who is living with her Aunt Lavinia. Her aunt's ward, Brendan, is kidnapped by witches and it's up to Sarah Jane and K9 to save the day.

I had not seen this show before but it was on the Tom Baker (as Doctor Who) DVD titled "The Invisible Enemy". It could probably be listed as a special under the Doctor Who Episode Guide but Doctor Who isn't actually in this episode. Regardless, it was an interesting one-off Christmas Special episode.
