Gruesome and genuinely traumatic story to say the least, in the same vein as the Columbine shootings. Some individuals are just born bad and can't be rehabilitated no matter what. Robbie Hawkins showed some obvious signs of antisocial personality disorders from a very early age and despite his parents various efforts to help, it was to no avail. He should have been locked away for good and sedated. There were red flags everywhere, BIG @ss ones, violent verbal and physical outbursts, death threats, attempt to poison his stepmom, etc. That whole sequence of him coming home after spending some time in pschiatric care and being described by his step mom as a "very white cleaned slate" reminded me of Michael Myers, that fictional character from Carpenter's Halloween.
