After witnessing a near-kiss between Keitaro and Naru, Shinobu becomes fixated on the idea of kissing. She starts asking everyone what a kiss means, and when Akiko casually mentions kissing yesterday, Shinobu is thrown into a swirl of jealousy and curiosity.
